free hand and home made ladder mill

I haven't tried a Norwood mill but that ladder mill they sell looks like a slick set up. I did however tear up a ladder so made a steel tube truss. I have the newest model somewhere on this form. You can easily copy it if you or a friend has some fabrication skills.

What are you building with your milled wood?

Regarding the automotive polyurethane finish. I have 2 pieces on my deck in the direct sun for a year now. They are as nice as the day I sprayed them. No yellowing. No cracking. Regular off the shelf product would start breaking down and total fail at 18-24 months. My cost here for a 6 liter...

What are you building with your milled wood?

H No mill for this stuff. Way to hard. Had to freehand it with the 3120. I made a surfacing table and use the router and planer to flatten the rough cut slabs.

What are you building with your milled wood?

I'm using an epoxy the surfboard shapers use here. Guy imports it from the states. No idea who makes it. He has his own Co name on it. Sets up kind of fast but good uv protection and super hard surface. Epoxy on sand it off till its just right. 3-5 applications. 2 apps is OK.

He engineered this tool. It's very well made. He had it marketed as a de barking tool. I saw a wicked shaping tool. Blades...

What are you building with your milled wood?

Oh here's an example in epoxy still needs final coat though. Considering polyurethane auto finish as I can spray it. Reseña I'm asking this is the epoxy is more flexible. The auto finish is hard as plexiglass glass.

What are you building with your milled wood?

OK Wood Tics. Here's a question for all of you. I have been playing around with automotive polyurethane clear coat. Have any of you tried this before to seal wood? Thus far I have only used it on smaller pieces. I normally use it on my neighbour's cars but spray a couple chunks of wood with any...

I would really like to know more about running the open clutch mode flying pig. Does it help cool the clutch and how about chain lube? I find my cover is jammed packed with crud and I think this affects the lubrication on the chain. most of it rubs off as it goes through the crud pack in the...
