We had a visitor at the cabin Friday morning. Looked pretty content just chewing his cud.

I have one of those too. Had spark, couple of carb inspections, exhaust off, no love. @tree monkey said it was the coil not being able to advance to run. New coil and it's run awesome ever since.

In my opinion ya can’t hate a Soft Maple enough. Dirty, huge thing. Cleaned this pile off the roof and out of the gutters. In the Fall it’s tons of leaves. But it’s so big I don’t want to spend what it takes to get rid of it.

That's a start at least. They’re reluctant to treat it around here, you have to know where to go to get treated. They don’t want to give out the antibiotic to treat it at our local clinic at least not the levels my wife needed per her Dr.

We used to have a lot of Elm trees and when they died off, I could pick Morels in the yard. Harder to find now, but I usually start looking around the time the Lilacs blossom.

Ice is not off the lakes up there yet, at least not ours. Wife is itching to go up to the cabin, but has to wait a couple of weeks yet. Heard that a neighboring lake still had 2' of ice.

I read where Porsche was discontinuing EV research and development. Coal burning battery buggies. Hydrogen engines seem to be the next thing to try.

I had two VW Diesels back in the 80's and the Owner's Manuals recommended up to 10% gas added to #2 fuel. Had to resort to that when a "50-50" mix gelled up and the rescue stuff wouldn't pour out of the can. Being that #1 was more expensive than #2, the 50-50 blend was probably like a 50-50...

Got back from FL last night to wake up this morning to 0 temp. The ONLY thing I won't miss about FL is the traffic. You can't call them drivers because they're far from it, drugged up idiots would be more fitting. BIL works in an ER down there and has lots of stories. You can be driving 70...

My son called and said all 4 of his trucks were jelled up. Supposedly #1 and Rescue 911 still screwed up.

We rent a condo for a month with another couple at St. Pete’s Beach. We’re changing to a month later after this crap for the 2nd year in a row now. Right now it’s 40 and windy. 🤮 Can’t even work on my tan!!

It’s cool in Florida right now, but I told the wife to hold off on plans to visit the cabin for a few days. More like months would be better yet.

We were planning on stopping by you guy's neck of the woods in Hermann today on the way to FL. Guessing snow and ice convinced the wife we should wait a day for departure on said trip! Bare ground and cold here is all.
