DHT 22-ton splitters on sale now

I have had the older version of this one for around 4 years, and it's been fantastic. Mine has a longer beam that extends to the end of the ram. And mine didn't come with the log cradle. I thought i got a deal at around 900. This price is unbelievable. Best part is that the engine is nearly...

    Sunoco 104 octane

260 GT Plus (linked by the OP) is oxygenated. 260 GTX is not oxygenated. I have used the GTX, because i can get it at a local race track (like 8 bucks a gallon). Didn't really like the way my saws ran. Not sure why. Now i get E-free when on road trips.

    Husqvarna 580bts misfire

Ok. Not sure what you mean by (not a misfire). But I'll keep that in mind, and get a coil next, if it comes back. Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk

    Husqvarna 580bts misfire

I fully intended to get video, after I finished clearing the leaves in the driveway. But the problem disappeared. So, I never recorded it. I'll check that connection. Thanks. It's hard to explain the misfiring. I'm a car guy. Sounds like when a car has a misfire. Sounds like when a 4 cylinder...

    Husqvarna 580bts misfire

AVB. Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, that's not the problem. When not misfiring, it runs at a steady 7200. When misfiring, it's much less. It's clearly a misfire, and not a limiter. Sometimes it will be a single or double stutter, sometimes continuous. So, here's what i've done so far. I...

    Husqvarna 580bts misfire

I've got a 580bts. It's about 3 years old, and it is only used by me, on my property. I'd guess I've got 10-15 tanks through it, so it's not that well used. Recently, it developed a misfire. I'm having trouble diagnosing. Starts normally. I usually let it idle a few minutes before using it...

Did something new with a chainsaw today

I believe sipes are the tiny slits (like in snow tires), and the grooves are the bigger cutouts. So, these would be grooves. The tool I bought will do either. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Did something new with a chainsaw today

That came out great! I bought a grooving tool. Didn't think of a chainsaw. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    What VP fuel

There is nothing near me in MA either. I travel every so often by car, and try to plan out my trips to get to an e free station and grab 10 gallons a few times a year. Sometimes NY, sometimes Canada, etc. I add a stabilizer, and only use it in the saws. I also to to race tracks, and most sell...

I think i found some metal

I cut the same log 18 inches away from the metal cut, in both directions, and hit nothing (accidentally actually, I intended to abandon the log). So now I have a 36 inch piece half cut. I'm curious what's inside. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

I think i found some metal

So, i got myself a log truck load delivered, and cut it up in a day. Was mid way through a log about 14" dia with the 562, and felt a very mild vibration, so i stopped, and pulled the saw out of the cut. This is what i found. It was a 68 drive link chain, and i counted 15 cutters completely...
