Anybody know or remember the stamping company making the mower decks? In my wayback machine memory, I remember Several Surplus guys that bought truckloads of mower shells about every 4-5 years. All of those guys are now closed and places like Ebay are selling shells for complete deck prices. Or...

Update- Cut some more with the Tri K, I like it. Still sharp reasonably after another 2 hours of cedar, I think this will be the long term chain. I'll sharpen upstart and tri k and update again.

How about removing the eyebrow panel with an "S" above tach? Might give you a big hole.

My favorite belts were MAGAM. Made somewhere in asia. Local fleet store sold them for $6.00 for 1/2 and smaller, $8,00 for 5/8. Not bad for price, but best part they were the toughest belts I've ever found.Used them on everything, Air compressors, 6foot pto mower, 6foot belly mower, Old pickups...

Try G..gleing the frame, somewhere I have a pdf list of frame dimensions. I was in same situation as you and got a replacement for about $200. Just had to extend the belt slots.
