Joined the Echo club. Picked this up on ebay for 135 shipped. No bar or chain cover. Was told it started hard and rpms fluttered at full throttle. Checked the plug and there was hardly any gap. Regapped plug to .030" and she popped off on 3rd pull. Did a modest muffler mod, pulled limiters and...

Not too bad, granted it's still got the spark screen and baffle in. My biggest complaint would be the vibration. If I ever come across one with the anti vibe in the bottom of the handle I'll likely pick it up.

Well I got some time in with the little booger today and I must say this thing has some grunt! I trimmed up a dozen pine trees that haven't been touched for 20+years and cut a truckload of dead ash. It has definitely earned a spot in the rotation.

I haven't taken it out of the case too much yet. It was given to me recently because it wouldn't start. New fuel lines and air filter and its a nice little runner. We will see if it can upend my little homelite as my brush/limbing saw.
