    A Stihl 440 work saw

I still keep a few of them around and have about 30 of them out there cutting wood, I have never had one come back in for service, they are a tough saw.

That`s right and it was rerouted shortly after that set of pics were taken, It has not even been pulled over by the recoil since it was built, I have a new set of pics of it somewhere.

On some Pioneers the paint would remove itself just sitting, on others even bead blasting took some time to get it off, hit or miss really.

Found out these shirts came new with some sort of waterproofing sprayed on them from the factory, that stuff burned very much like napth gas or pure alcohol,. Was a fairly fast flash up and burn, couldn`t put it...

The mighty stihl 064 and early 066

I guess I should have been more explicit, I got mine from Bryce Stott over in Washington, Cheap Chainsaw Parts, he did have a good bit of NOS 064 parts and pieces , I did load up enough for my future build.

    Aftermarket Cylinder Quality

This AM stuff is such a sad state of affair, it gets so many peoples hopes up that its a good alternative to original parts but so much of it isn`t worth the time wasted trying to make it work properly or just work at all.
