Hey everyone, it's been a year since the last video and honestly this is the first tree I've cut since. A tricky one too, backed onto a fence 2 metres away from the road, only one way for it to go. Firewood season is here so hopefully the 462 will see some more action... Cheers

A few cuts, some mad revving and an M-TRONIC reset post timing advance and muffler mod. ;)

Tree Monkey and Brad inspired me to have a crack at advancing the timing. The general consensus seemed the 462 doesn't like any more than 6 to 8 degrees, correct me if I'm wrong. I have advanced the timing by roughly 6.5/7ish degrees by taking 0.5mm off the key. Recalibrated the m-tronic, which...

Hey I went to get a spare air filter for the 462 here in Australia... these are the latest apparently. Stihl Rep said that the only reason it's white now is that they had a lot of people not realising how dirty the black filters actually were and that resulted in starting issues with some saws...

Hey mate, where did you get the wrap handle for it? Or is it custom made? I can't figure out how some of you make these yourselves. Definitely want one. :clap:

Haha yup, mine looks like that too. I tried to straighten it out. lol No leakage so I will put this down to nifty German design!

Still stock except for muffler mod. See pic... removed screen and slightly enlarged exit hole as well. I'm not game to do any more myself.
