Completely reworked a 390xp muffler. Original deflector is cut off and the outlet covered over and welded solid. Added 1 outlet on either side of the can. Had to trim the top cover to make room for the FW side deflector. Heat tape added to the brake handle just to be safe. Sorted my doorbell hair trigger it's ready to put up now oh and done some bar art it's a sawfish! the white lines are the number of times I've thrown the chain and it's wrapped around my legs no not really lol it's actually the number of times I've managed to start a 7+ cub saw all on my own.
Might get some much needed rain this arvo figgers crossed.

Cutting yesterday on one of my tsumura bars, I must’ve had a log pinch the tip (don’t know how the eff I did that as I’m not one to usually do that). Didn’t notice it till the chain was just starting to smoke at the tip... a “oh chit” moment lol. Today I fixed the spot on the tip circled in red, you can see the slight discoloring. 5C4A777A-65CF-4087-B420-AC7D873680FC.jpegThe fix for this is quite simple... use a flat head screwdriver slightly bigger than the groove and hammer it down lengthwise into the rail several times to ease it back open. Sprocket spins freely, we’ll see how long it holds up but it seems to cut well now. The tip doesn’t seem to be as strong as a sugi bar, which is odd as both are made in japan. Must be because of the 4 rivets vs the 5 in the sugihara tip?
