I received this saw last week. Thanks again @AlfA01 . I wanted/needed to make some wrap handlebars before I could use it at work. I had a local fabricator do that, and I put some different dawgs and clutch cover on it, as well as modifying the muffler. Today will be it’s first working day. I do notice it feels a little spongy AV-wise. I’ve got a 32” ES lightweight bar and skip tooth square grind chain.

I know some people don’t like them, but I find a prefilter on the 661 to be nice. This is the same filter, so I’ll go for it.
It’ll be interesting to see how this saw does for sure.

How do you like the 462 vs the 572?
I like them both. Pros and cons to each one. My 462 is just muffler modded, and my 572 is ported. I’d like to put some time behind a 572 just muffler modded. The 572 feels more well made to me. But the 462 has been doing just fine as well.

The wrap looks good, but will that muffler pass for fire season?

Very cool - did Dan C. modify the handle? He made me a couple full-wrap for saws that don't normally come with them. I just took him two half wraps to make one full out of.
