Did this mower up few years ago it has a rotary valve engine from memory it is 150cc a very strong running and tuff mower made for Aussie conditions it shreds anything in it's path!
I use it and don't baby it no point sitting it on a shelf and just looking at it.
I enjoy restoring thing's back to shiny and new but for me the best part is actually using them after I restore them it's what they made for.

Here's another one I did an Australian made 1966 Turner a very rare mower possibly only one of two that still exist.
The engine is a Villiers Torque Major 140cc a very smooth running mower.

I like working on old Briggs and Stratton engines aswell this Aussie made mid 70's Rover selfpropeld mower is running a 5hp Briggs going off the code the engine was made in 1975 at the Murray, Kentucky engine plant.

Wow those are some nice restoration jobs on the engines, the painting looks better that Briggs did it at the factory!
Thanks is just a hobbie I've enjoyed tinkering with engines for when I was a kid.
Here's a 1964 Australian made(Ballarat) mark 12/2 Villiers 120cc about 2hp the Honda's and Briggs killed them off.

Awesome! Sadly it looks like we are going to lose the Murray plant.:(
What a shame no dought it's closing thanks to the cheap Chinese rubbish they flood country's with we are in the same boat here everything closing.
Our dairy farmers are on there last but it's ok they say China is going to supply our milk and dairy products I can't wait for that day when a drink of milk can kill you..
