Selling my SuperSplit HD. Wife talked me into moving south an hour to a smaller new home. I won’t need any of my equipment so my SS HD is up for sale.

Only 44 hours, garage kept, run on premium ethanol free. Located in Manassas Virginia 20112.

$2800. Please pm me, Rye.

Good deal on a SuperSplit HD with the Honda GX 200!

I’ve had the same exact setup, only with front outboard stabilizer legs, for a few years now. Kick ass splitter, bar none!

I’ll throw this in...if anyone here buys this SS HD, I’ll send you a set of the same front, outboard stabilizer legs to add to the splitter shelf. Drill four holes through the front shelf, 90 deg downturn area, and bolt ‘em on. Telescopic legs with quick-release pins and you’re adjusted and ready to roll. Three points of ground contact makes a difference than the single contact point from the original design.

These legs I’m referring to, I ordered originally for mine. By the time they got here via UPS, the box was in one helluva shape, half open, and no bolting hardware nor quick-release pins. I immediately called the mfg’r and they told me to keep the stabilizer legs, and overnighted me a new set the following day. That’s the only thing you’ll need to buy...four bolts/flat washers/lock washers/nuts or nylon nuts, and two quick-release pins, or you could simply run small length 5/16” or 3/8” bolts with nylon nuts hand-tight on the telescoping legs, and achieve the same result. Most of you folks have that piddling little bit of hardware lying around your shop anyhow, so probably wouldn’t even have to venture to the hardware store, unless you wanted to do it in stainless maybe.

Thanks devil that’s a heck of a deal. I’ll pay for stabilizer shipping to buyers address from USMC615’s place.

Tractors gone, ugh. Sad day a few weeks back.
Everything Attachments Wicked Root Grapple is for sale.
Deckover Gooseneck is for sale.
SuperSplit as well.

Closing just got moved up 3 weeks, yikes. I’m starting to sweat.

Don’t you fret covering shipping...I’ll handle that. You got bigger and better things to spend a little jingle on with this move.

And this one comes with an hour meter/maybe a dual with a tach as well, like on mine. This is a helluva deal on one of the finest splitters/wood processors this planet has ever seen. I think the stabilizer legs were $70-80 bucks or so, I can’t remember, it’s irrelevant...but I’m throwing them in for whoever buys this fine machine.

If someone picks this machine up, you’ll literally scratch your head saying, ‘why in the hell did I not buy a SuperSplit or HD model sooner.’ I know they’re pricey, and they ain’t for everybody...but damn what a machine. That 3 sec cycle time can bust a cord quick-like. As far as gnarly, twisted *s-wordt goes...might have to hit it twice, three times at best...and it’s coming apart...those flywheels don’t screw around. And the two stabilizer legs I’ll throw in for free, really anchor the front end from the little if any ‘bounce effect’ of tougher, gnarly splits it can have with only sitting on the one, original leg.

Keep a little whisk broom nearby, maybe an air hose if within 50/100’ to a compressor, a can of Pennzoil Z-4, Slick 50 One Lube, or can of WD-40, hit the roller bearings occasionally...and just bust away. And that Honda GX 200 just sips gas. I noticed a hitch mounted to the front leg as well. Another plus!

GLWS...I think if someone within traveling and trailering distance can get this...they’ll never look back at another splitter or processor, if that’s their game plan to turn minimal time busting cords, face cords, etc...for themselves, or into a firewood selling deal.

Hell of a deal. Just paid A bit over 3000 for the J model with table new. I bought it in January and I just hit 50 hours and I split a hell of a lot of wood in 50 hours

So on another site it was suggested this machine was overpriced. I want to clear a few things up. The HD machine, table, hitch cost over $3300.
Then you have a wait depending on how many machines are in front of you, I waited a few months.

So IMO buying a machine (saving over $600) that’s like new, with a commercial engine, it’s built like a tank with many examples of them running many thousands of hours is a good and fair deal. Rye

If someone thinks this is overpriced, they ought to try to find a different used super split. Maybe it's different out east, but I've literally never seen one used within a hundred miles of me.

Seems like a good deal on that splitter to me.

Nothing wrong with where the price point was on this HD model...and you just sweetened the deal even more, with a $100 decrease in price.

Some folks just want high end *s-wordt...for next to nothing...because it’s ‘used.’ Tell folks like that to keep running their hydraulic splitter or swinging their X27’s/splitting mauls!

Send me the link to this ‘other site’ so I can take a look...

It was that other site. I don’t think the poster was being out of line, I just don’t think he knew what he was looking at. He posted the price of the base machine, no table, no hitch and thought I was high.

Thanks for the kind words Gents, have a great week.

I found it and read the few comments. Let that fella keep swinging away with an axe or maul. He could probably use the exercise anyhow.

GLWS Jarhead...it’ll happen!

I looked when I bought mine up here in NY and there was nothing used around. This is a no brainer

Ok Gents, my appraisal and closing date are done. If you want the machine prior to November 7 I’m open to a bit lower deal. PM me if your serious. I’ll take a few bucks off.

After November 7...

Once I have to load it up and drag it south $2700 will be forever the number. It can sit in my new garage till the right buyer comes along. Have a great weekend, Rye.

When I bought my SS HD a few years ago, it was shipped from MA to a freight terminal in Macon, GA (20 min's from the house) in about two weeks. Backed my truck/trailer near the loading dock, forklifted on, and back at the house with it in 20 min's ready to assemble the beast in the shop.
