Been looking for a long time and finally found one. KS 939/3D cylinder. This saw has the double thin ring.

I been lucky enough to get a 444 cylinder from Europe a while back to swap to a 44 that I bought a while back.when it arrived it was a KS 939.finally located a NOS 444 piston on ebay earlier this week but it is a single thick ring.will it still work?were the early cylinders chrome plated and later ones nicasil?

I believe you would be fine with a single ring. My cylinder looked to be chrome plated.
