If it follow the weight gain the 550 mk II got I'm not sure it will be a sucess, the same goes for the 560.
Husqvarna need to do simple updates on 560/562, stuff like improved bearings (same as 550 mk II), autotune v3, same type filter as 550/572 has, better heat protection for the carb.
Other then that they should keep the 560 & 562 plattform as it is.

Honest question here.

Do you really think a smidge more weight matters if the end result is a better chainsaw ?

To get light... to a certain point it means you have to make sacrifices. To get heavy duty... to a certain point it means more weight. At least with chainsaws it seems. My 572 feels lighter than it is because the ergonomics are so good... a lighter saw can feel heavier because of poorer ergonomics...

Probably not if it handles well. It is a trend reversal though and something to adjust to.

They do suck pretty bad stock.

Should have named it MS Hoover. LOL

I hated the 562 that I owned, felt like smashing it against a tree most days. Maybe I got a lemon but the damn thing was nothing but problems. Hopefully they improve on the new model, but then again I probably won’t buy one anyway.

I know I'm the forum weirdo...

But I just don't pay attention or notice when I pick up a chainsaw that weighs a little more or less the the other...

Not a weirdo at all man. I follow the same way. If it's something that makes cutting a pleasure or is simply like an extension of the body than regardless of what its weight is...I likes it.

Its all how you look at it. a 1/4 pound might not get noticed 3 1/4 pounds give it a days work and you're gonna notice it. How a saw and bar combination ballances and handles makes a big difference too. If weight made no difference there would be little reason for a professional to get a 70cc saw over a 90cc saw but the numbers show it must make a difference as the 70cc saws sell far more than the 90cc saws

I think 70 cc saws sell more because they're cheaper and not many people encounter trees on a regular basis that call for 90cc.

I still don't notice these things everyone talks about. The chainsaw is measurably the easiest part of my job.

price is a factor but the main one is usually weight. why else would someone buy two saws a 550/562 and a 572 or 390/395 simply they want to run the lighter saw when they can. not that you cant do it all with the larger saw just run a 20" on the 395 (heck i have a good bit and its great but it is more tiring if i have to do a lot of walking and not my pick for limbing)
