Didn't the SS half ton have a manual and a 5.3? But it was only 2wd?

I believe the SS trucks were a 6.0, but not sure you could get a manual trans.
I never saw an SS manual truck.
And they were AWD I think.
Or some were anyway. Memory is foggy on that!

The ss was a 6.0 4l80e awd and extra cab, after researching it a ton they didn’t use the nv3500 on the 5.3 because it is only rated 270-280 hp and in 03 the 5,3 was 285hp and the 4.8 was 270. You could get a 4wd manual 4.8, Half ton, and a a 6,0 nv4500 manual in a 3/4 ton

Yes, At least from what I read. I have seen standard cab ss clones as well, I have seen some standard cab ss’s but believe they are clones. Not 100% on that though, there are some convincing clones, the lower body cladding would have to be custom for the cab corner, the rest would be easy.

Reminds me of the old asshat shipping supervisor at my job buying a "Cadillac" truck.

It wasn't even a Cadillac front clip just an 03 Silverado with a billet grill and emblems stuck on it.
