Anyone heard anything about husqvarna's updated 562xp?
I'll say this...if it follows in the 550xp mk2 and 572 build quality and improvements, it's going to be a winner.
If it follow the weight gain the 550 mk II got I'm not sure it will be a sucess, the same goes for the 560.
Husqvarna need to do simple updates on 560/562, stuff like improved bearings (same as 550 mk II), autotune v3, same type filter as 550/572 has, better heat protection for the carb.
Other then that they should keep the 560 & 562 plattform as it is.
Dolmar tried this. Consensus was no.Honest question here.
Do you really think a smidge more weight matters if the end result is a better chainsaw ?
I've never been a fan of a 362, and I'm pretty unbiasedThen it may be as awesome as the ms 362 in the 60cc saw class.

They do suck pretty bad stock.
They suck stock. They just suck. It's a lame sawThey do suck pretty bad stock.
Probably not if it handles well. It is a trend reversal though and something to adjust to.
Should have named it MS Hoover. LOL
Not a weirdo at all man. I follow the same way. If it's something that makes cutting a pleasure or is simply like an extension of the body than regardless of what its weight is...I likes it.I know I'm the forum weirdo...
But I just don't pay attention or notice when I pick up a chainsaw that weighs a little more or less the the other...
Its all how you look at it. a 1/4 pound might not get noticed 3 1/4 pounds give it a days work and you're gonna notice it. How a saw and bar combination ballances and handles makes a big difference too. If weight made no difference there would be little reason for a professional to get a 70cc saw over a 90cc saw but the numbers show it must make a difference as the 70cc saws sell far more than the 90cc saws
