I got a 36” Hi Tech Titanium CN40
Bar with a 3210xp I picked up. The model number on the bar is HVP 3663 AP. On the box is a hand written 3/8 .063 122dl. The 122dl is the part that is confusing me. It seems that most 36” 3/8 bars are 115 or 119 dl. I can’t find any info on the GB site.

Strange that the bar has a non replaceable tip. The rails are clean and tight. I sprayed it since there was not much paint on it and it had some surface rust.

What chain should fit this? Seems long for a 36” I know that my Stihl 36” are shorter38852DB5-B7DC-4BAA-B8CD-66146E4A2065.jpeg 3D7B6395-5A7E-4E7D-B295-6D9BFF27F86A.jpeg32D01017-4EF1-4231-A962-2C5B661A51AB.jpeg2E0ECB8F-3F73-4F78-BDFF-DF6F49DFAAE5.jpeg

I don’t see anything that had the same numbers. One was close 0CBCF16A-DD97-45C6-9DDF-2D8A28CA5096.jpeg

If I had the chain that was on it that would be easy. I was given only 24” chains.

Stihl 36” bars are 114
Husky is usually one dl longer.

Break 2, 24” chains, spin em up and see how many dl it takes. It can’t be a 36” bar and 122 dl.

How bout a pic of the whole bar. CN40’s where usually orange?

It just seems long for a 36”. Here’s my Stihl for comparison. The Stihl is the bottom picture. Looked like the box from the little I could seeimage.jpg

At one time I did have this Tsumura 36” that was an odd ball 119dl. Wish I still had a chain from it. 1173DD47-1FBA-405B-BC76-23314FB6E0EF.png

I’m missing some Oiler parts behind the clutch that are on order before I can go further. I didn’t want to order a chain and be stuck with on oddball that doesn’t fit. There aren’t any decent dealers around here.

I wish that it was a replaceable tip bar. I would install a .404 tip.

Maybe I’ll run a Stihl bar with an adapter and sell this one. It’s light for a long bar. I’ll give it that.

Ive looked and looked.... for you trying to understand... but all I can come up with,,,,it a husky mount, 36” prolly 11 tooth sprocket but it would seem it should be a hard nose..

I think GB bars would be be goodish and answer your email to your problem with the code...

Other than that some one said about bars and chains / fitment once the chain is over the bar. You should see 5 dl,, try it on a chain and bar combo yo know that fits..

Be careful there, at least on my saws, adding the adapter and fitting a 36 from an 066 to a 395 required 3 more DL IIRC.

Maybe someone here can confirm that.

Probly cuz you had a 7 tooth on the 66 and a 9 tooth on the husky, lol.

Really though, I’ve only noticed 1 dl difference from Stihl to husky. There’s always exceptions though.

You have to grind the bar slot if it’s a stihl brand bar. The cannon are already lengthened in the slot. Not sure about tsumura or others. Annoyingly I can fit 91 dl 28” stihl mount on a 572, 372 and whatnot but not on a 395. I think I have to add one more DL.

It’s even more of a pain in the a$$ to get the slot right for a dolmar with stihl bar. It takes husky mount but the studs are different spacing... need a spacer that fits it, complicating things further. I was determined to make my freebie ES bar work and I did lol. I feel like they all do this on purpose so u have to go to there dealers to buy stuff.
