That beautiful stuff is Soapstone, bud. It's so pretty when its polished and wet.

@MustangMike the business I work for is capable of all aspects of granite, marble, soapstone, ceramic, and man made material work. We have an Achilli automated bridge saw, an Achilli Smart Multitool, several grinding and polishing rigs. I'll post some more pics. The coolest tool I think we have is a massive lifting device with suction cups on it.

I have seen some of that type of machinery and it is definitely pretty cool stuff.

This was a big white pine that me and @Scotty Overkill did this past weekend. We shared the climbing duties on this one. It had 4 big tops in it. This thing was nast like a bog big spaghetti bowl everything grown and intertwined together.

Scotty in action.

Nice job guys!!!

Looks like open field there. Just curious why you didn't drop the whole tree. Or was there something in the way that the photos didn't show?
Farmhouse right against the one side of the lean, as well as a septic tank and two wells...

And a shed on the side.....

Yup as what Scotty said above. Plus we didn't want and 6' to 7' spears driving down into the ground and puncturing water or sewage line. And it works nicer to keep the mess contained at the base of the tree rather than all spread out all over the yard.
