Nice. They run strong for stock OEM saws.

Thanks, good old saws.
I like the way the 254 handles, the outboard clutch is nice for balance, just don't pinch it unless you have another saw to get it out or a tractor handy .

Looks good. I put one of these together about 5 years ago with the same specs. I've run the snot out of it since then and it hasn't missed a beat. If it's like mine, you can really get ham fisted and they'll keep the chain turning. Not as revvy but a lil more torque than the 346 jugs imho. Nice little firewood saws.
Yep I noticed that too, not as fast as a 346 but they grunt for sure

Well..... the tree50 is bigger than the 346 so..... has to be stronger, No?
Yes, and tree53 is even betterer.

That's why I like the 450's(favorite non mag saw), same basic specs as the 350/353, easy access air filter(for pictures and the like).
Great little saws for the price. But if you want something to mod the 350/353 is the way to go.
I try to have all those on hand here at all times, need another 450 just sold one two weeks ago.

No sir the transfer ports are not as good design I believe. Same for 357xp vs 359. The xp saws in general usually have a better cylinder. You can port the 350/359 to perform well though. 2cc’s is barely a difference in a chainsaw anyway.
