I hope yall had a better day than I did! I blew a hydraulic pump on the skidder doing charity work pulling firewood for a neighbor. That's gonna suck to the tune of $4000 or so.

Ouch !

I have found a fake PayPal email in my inbox.
Good thing I don't just click on any link saying "Click me" or the sorts.
I have forwarded this to PayPal.

Watch out guys and gals, sometimes it pays to be cautious - always check the senders email address.

Just went out to put new wipers on the wifes 2018 equinox and got a wiff of coolant. Just over 20000 kms and already has a leak. Bottle empty. Kinda pissed.
Good job gm.

Could be a small hole punched in the radiator... At least it's under warranty. Hopefully they can find and fix the problem.

Just reading these phishing attempts is usually a strong clue. There's 4 or 5 spelling or grammatical errors in just the first line of the message. Something from paypal would not have those. Glad you weren't a victim.

True, the grammar is average at best.
Still, there are surely a bunch of people who just click away.
A little bit of caution goes a long way. :)

Bucked up most of a large oak tree. Split and noodled a few rounds so I could get them in the truck. Used a Stihl 029 to 039 conversion for most of it. That thing is running great. Time to sell it and make up another one.

Today I fixed my old Homelite leaf blower that has been cantankerous lately. A carb rebuild did the trick. I also put a new (Asian) carb on a Stihl 021 that has been running rich (had one screw carb, now two). It's running great but I haven't put it in wood yet. I also cleaned up the Stihl 029/039 and took pics of it. Posted it on local Facebook buy and sell page and on Atlanta Craigslist. We'll see how long it stays on there before someone comes and pays my price ($360). I've sold a lot of these saws and always sell them eventually. This one is a great runner. Some turn out better than others due to variables I'm not aware of. Now I'll make up another one and put it in my test program.

Replaced the water blending valve in the washing machine and the timer and start switch in the dryer. I'd hate to think how many people would of pitched them and got new ones over $90 worth of parts.

Went to church this morning, went to Waffle House for some lunch and picked up a few items at Walmart and Kroger. Then went home and split about 1/4 cord of oak with a maul. Worked on a jigsaw puzzle for a while and did a bit of paperwork and research. Watching Columbo on TV now.
