Hey I went to get a spare air filter for the 462 here in Australia... these are the latest apparently.
Stihl Rep said that the only reason it's white now is that they had a lot of people not realising how dirty the black filters actually were and that resulted in starting issues with some saws. The white filters will make you want to clean them more often.

Interesting i ll ask availability just for fun

Like hotsaws Jack? Well i m thankful Stihl sells a 32inch bar and not a 33 cause my 462 wouldn’t work!!!
Actually i got an Es Light 32inch i can use with my 661 or 462’s
