Hello folks,
its picture time again. Today for one of the less common Dolmars out there: PS-344

1st impression on arrival: Quite a promising sight

kurbelgehaeuse_offen.jpg

some work needed since the crank had small but noticeable radial clearance, so I replaced main bearings and seals

other than that the little sweety was in real good shape

Replaced the stock oil-pump with an adjustable one to minimize the notorious oil-spill of these saws

tillotson_vergaser.jpg

And this is what makes the 344 (and 342) different: Tillotson injector carb plus primer.
Part throttle position is now switched with the choke-switch visible beneath the primer bulb,
no more lock-button in the rear handle.
The chock switch has 2 positions (other than off): 1 - cold start, 2 - part throttle

Starting instructions depicted on the hood.

And now, that's her:

The sprocket cover decal is NLA and I haven't got a color laser printer (yet) to produce a new sticker

It's nice to be able to see one of these disassembled.
Thanks for the pics!

These days I managed to close a wide yawning gap in my tiny collection:
Sachs-Dolmar 105 'Black & White' in remarkable good shape for a remarkable
good price:

In case you don't know - There were 4 models produced as 'Black & White' special edition saws late 1985 for about 4 months:
Sachs-Dolmar 105
Sachs-Dolmar 108
Sachs-Dolmar 110 - the only Sachs-Dolmar saw with white plastic parts
Sachs-Dolmar 112.

The latter three I already had on my shelves, the 105 missing until now.
