So I found a guy giving away 14" x 12' sonotubes and snatched up 17 or them. I'm making another run tomorrow for 17 more. If he let's me I will even do a third load.

Here is a good video of a guy using the perma column wet set brackets on top of the sonotubes. You can skip to the third video and see how he lifts a entire wall with a skid steer and special pole. The first two are prep and pouring the columns then prefabbing the walls.

I recently found his channel also,he does nice work, study his vids ,squaring the building he has goodtips ,i i made a stinger like he had with a 12 foot 4x6 with a eye hook on the end ,works real good when standing beams alone. I used 6x12 and 10 x10 beams i milled ,so structure was more or less free minus my time, think i had a couple Grand into roof 2x6 board's plywood sheeting and arch comp roofing ,if have some trees you can frame it pretty cheap.

Not a fan of roll up doors. Much prefer standard overhead doors. When I built my garage, I put an 8 x 12 ohd. A buddy put rollup in his. He ended up swapping them out for overhead. I hope to build a barn next year. I'll again, be going with overhead. Cost a little more upfront but, a better door imo.
Are you referring to a coil/sheet door or slat door? The slat doors are heavy duty and work well .The sheet doors are like what storage units use. I have overheads on my Morton, but slat doors on the shop. They are mounted backwards so I could keep all my height.

Was referring to the "coil/sheet" door. The storage unit doors, are on a lot of the metal buildings I see built cheap around here. One guy I know personally, had some company throw up one of those buildings for pretty cheap. He ended up replacing the doors after.

Those are definitely sheety doors! I have one on a seed storage room because it was given to me. It hangs up all the time.

So I finished screwing down my metal roof to the purlins the other week. On that day the 2x4 purlins were coated with ice. We used a burzomatic tourch to melt the ice so you could walk up to the ridge and screw things down.
Glad that stage is done.
Moving on to the eves, soffits and returns.

They went into my barn for storage. They did get wet from the roads but didnt saturate the cardboard. They are WAY thicker than normal sonotubes but not as much wax on them. Shouldnt matter for the purpose they provide.

I've been busy, even bought a new (used) 3 point toy, I mean backhoe made by Kelly.
