Guilty as charged with being a AS Member. For some things how ever I find it just to big and over whelming.

Yes the press is a oldie a goodie for me any way. I would hate to guess how much ammo I have loaded with it and number of game animals I have taken with ammo off it.

My little tumbler.

Tumbler medium is plain old genric rice from a 50 pound bag.

I hunt clay birds, squirrels, rabbits, partridges, turkeys, deer and coyotes.
I am part of a group of coyote hunters. we have over 40 farms we can hunt thru out a 5 county area.

Nice setup. Now, please assure me you have way more powder, bullets, brass, and primers than what I am seeing there? I mean, that's like Mastermind only having three saws!

I keep my brass in a 20 gallon rubber maid tub unsorted. Shot gun hulls are also stored in rubber maid tubs but sorted and 5 gallon pails.

Usually in mid winter during a rageing storm I will start my reloading wash in Bich wood casy case cleaner, hang the cases in net onion bags in the wood burning furnace room.

When dry remove primers and pitch in the tumbler for a couple hours, clean out the primer pockets and sort by caliber. Decide which I am going to reload first usually the 22 hornet or the 220 swift. retrieve thre primers stored in thre gun safe with the golden rod insureing they are in a dry environment.

I have tried to keep my power usage to just a few. IMR 3031, IMR 4350 , IMR 4320, and IMR 6440, the latter I am about to change over to 3031 if my test turn out. Looking at a new powder to load the 22Hornet IMR 4657 insn't being made any longer.

Shot shells are all loaded with green dot and the 8 pound jug fits under the bench as does the gallon jugs of shot.

Some things nice to have for reloading.

A funnel is a must unless you can roll a shet of paper into a nice funnel every time.
A deburring tool to use after case trimming.

Primer pocket trimmer, cleans the primer pocket sides so primers slide in easy. the green thing is a Remington bolt take down tool. Just try to find one today.

Primer pocket cleaning brush. I just buy the tips now and chuck them into my drill and do hundreds at a setting.

I use this tool to lube case necks with powder graphite before sizeing. I do not spray the case with sizeing lube.
A little slick 50 on a sponge is fine for that.

One of the best tools I ever spend money on for reloading rifle cases. A hand primer tool. Inserts the primers into the pocket quickly with ease.

One of the first tools I bought and so very glad I did. it is a case check tool to see if they need trimming. today may need a new one for the new cartridges on the market.

The replacement digital scale Cabela gave me to replace their brand that puked in just a few months. Keep your receipts, boxes too even.
Yes I used to seprate all my bullets by weight.

A powder trickler is a really nice tool also.

I never worry about double chargeing a case. I drop the powder into the scale pan of the digital scale. Trickle in if needed, pour into the funnel and insert the bullet right then and there.

Those RCBS hand primers are awesome. The old Lee Auto Prime was really good, then they went and ruined it.

I have the RCBS case prep station. Takes about 45 seconds to clean primer pocket, de-burr the neck inside and out and brush the case neck out. It makes it that much quicker when you try to reload 2-300 rounds in a setting.

A lot of what I have is newer versions of what you have and I've been reloading for 40 years.
I've gone to progressive presses for everything I load in quantity. I use single stage presses and weigh every charge for hunting ammo, .308 & .223 target loads, as well as handgun loads for the big bores.
A few years ago I tried wet tumbling. It works a lot better and I don't have near the mess.
I use a Dillon super swage for removing the crimp on primer pockets. I process a lot of military brass and it makes the job a lot quicker. I still have and use a primer pocket uniforming tool on small batches.
I also use a drop in case gauge on every case before I load it for the first time. Military weapons are really hard on brass.
I have a maximum length gauge but also utilize a good set of calipers. I use a micrometer, for measuring bullet diameter, case head expansion and several other things.
When I started reloading, I only had the bare necessities. Over the years, I seem to have accumulated a bit more.
Here's a couple pics of my little rat hole.

Evening all! Been busy with Harvest, Hay,and work. I did get to uncork some 50AE loads recently, but discovered that I went a bit long on the OAL. The 325gr bullet I was using was supposed to work well with the AE, but indexing the shoulder of the bullet to the case mouth, to avoid a gap between the case mouth and the bullet, resulted in a 1.720 oal, with book being 1.670. The shot fine, loading them individually, but won't function in the mag... I'll have to either seat them deeper next time, or find a different bullet...

I also have a glut of .243 and 8x57 that I need to test in 3 rifles, with some newer powders and homogeneous bullets, just out of curiosity. My Ruger Ruger 77MKII sporter in 243, and a Remington 700 classic and BRNO VZ24, both in 8x57...

New to this forum. Can anyone give any leads on where to search for reloading supplies in the middle of a national pandemic? Seems every small pistol primer in existence has been bought . Any help appreciated guys.
