ha ha ha ha ha . really it was lol/lol/lol/ you only took ammunition for 3
Well, what happened was I shot a deer from the ladder stand, then shot at another one from the stand. Went down to look for the second deer as I didn't see it after I shot. Walking around in the woods (no snow here) I located the deer and at that time saw a third deer some ways off that was probably part of the original group. I waited for a clear shot at that one and it went down but wasn't dead. I walked over towards it and saw I had shot it in the spine. I don't usually like to shoot a deer a second time but this one wasn't going anywhere but wasn't bleeding out either. So I got about 10 feet from it and attempted to shoot it in the head. I missed. (shouldn't have looked through the scope) That was how many shells my rifle holds (4). I had to go back to the truck where I had one spare round. Put that in, went back to the wounded deer and got close enough to not miss. (just out of hoof range). So that was the last of my ammo. I only hunt a mile from my house but there wasn't enough day left to go for more bullets. Plus I had to deal with the three deer I already had. Loaded them on my hitch rack and went home...

True! Lol
They restricted our salmon season because of low numbers....
Its funny because the 2 states east of me have a high limit than Kansas in an effort to push more of them west.

I always bring at least 20 rifle rounds, in addition to whatever I have in my pistol. Never needed more than two, and almost always just one seals the deal. I guess it just feels right to me. We do have some coyote packs here and I would take some of them out if the opportunity presents itself.

...can shoot 12 deer a year here in Ga. And hogs are all you can stand to shoot, 12 months a year.

Here in PA, you are encouraged to shoot feral swine on sight. No season and no bag limit. They're trying to be proactive, and keep them from spreading.

That’s a whole lot of toolboxes. Guess the price of all those tools probably don’t come close to one of those planes though lol

Hundreds of tool boxes are on the floors across the three C-17 hangars...we keep ten C-17's under hangar roofs at all times, another four/five are worked outside in the open. All the tool boxes total wouldn't put a dent in the $250-275 million dollar price tag each for a C-17.

Good thing USAF didn't ask Snappy to supply the C-17's as well. Price tag would be in the billions for each one!

Got the aforementioned timing belt job mostly back together on the 626. Only problem is, I get the cams lined up just fine but the crankshaft timing mark is like 1/2 a tooth off. Took the belt on and off a couple of times and there is seriously no room to correct it, the new belt is tight as can be with the tensioner retracted all the way. The Dayco part number on the box and the belt itself are correct for the vehicle. I know some vehicles run just fine slightly off, others not at all. And of course, often times the belt stretches a little with age and knocks it out of timing slightly.

What say you? Should I run it and see how it does as is? Or, maybe this belt is a little too tight from the factory and I should get another one? Unlike the Camry and Corolla, the space to work in is really tight on this car, the valve cover has to come off, and the timing belt cover has multiple pieces so it's a bigger PITA.

You need to fudge the installation of the belt by predicting which way the cams are going to move once the belt stretches a bit (which it will)
A half tooth on the crank is probably a whole tooth on the cam fwiw.
Can you run it disassembled or do you have to put it all back together first?

I can run it about half disassembled. Currently, the crank sprocket is set about half a tooth forward, making the cam timing a bit retarded. So, if I try to set it half a tooth backwards, that will make the cam timing slightly advanced. And, as the belt stretches, it should move back to centered. That sound like a plan?
