What's on your bench?

I think they are getting all fouled up over in China. A few months ago, they were sending me 440 tank handles that were supposed to be 460 tank holders.

Very annoying when you wait almost 2 months and then get the wrong part!!!

a rebuilded 254, with K&S no decomp. '91 cylinder. Adding the updates over the years (new style crankshaft, automatic oiler, bigger flywheel with higher fins, "air injection" and so on..)

Hum what's on my bench today well how about the bench itself finally finished nothing pretty but way better than it was.

4.5hp merc, replacing fuel hose clamps and fixing some wires, fuel hose clamp failed last time I had it out and the motor caught fire, got the fire out real quick with an extinguisher before any damage was caused.

Just tot a 6 month old Stihl MS201TC (Mtronic, I think??) broke the pull cord, saw is sluggish. Looking at a MM and allow it to self adjust. Anyone have experience with the 201TC?

201s are slugs stalk but don't take much to wake them up.

My 201tc is from 2017. With a timing advance and mm it’s equal to my 200t.

How’s the piston look? Carb has bad gas?

Too tired to tear into it tonight. Been ridden hard for its whole life. Bar is worn out, trying to talk him into a 16” lightweight bar for it.

I reviewed the 201t and 201tc threads by @blsnelling. Excellent info. Kind of interested if anyone has had good results with actually porting the 201 cyl

I didn't port the two that my buddy has for his tree service but I did do muffler mods and advanced the timing on one they both run very good.

Don't get to crazy with the muffler mod won't take much if you can take it off and make sure that the muffler gasket and muffler opening matches the port outlet of the cylinder.
