oak cant, 28" tsumura, 9pin, 3/8ths Stihl RS, tree monkey 661, start temp prior to each cut 230F
I did this prior to the MI & TN gtg's. Just looking for an edge.
I ran fleet farm and BP for my gas again because they seemed to produce the fastest times in the previous tests. (see gas test #1 & gas test #2 attached). Then at same time I also wanted to compare mobil 1, schaeffer 9k, and honda hp2. (some of my favorite oil to use)
My thoughts - the thermocouple has proved to be much more accurate than the old Flir gun I was using in gas test #1 & #2. Live and learn.
slight advantage with the honda. this was the case in previous tests i've done
I think the real difference in oil is going to be in the ratio used. At least on the 661. So I'll have to get to that one of these days. Also how clean it burns, which is another test I want to do on all of the oil I have. (15 different)
