Good for you stepping up for your kids. I think there is a few of us single dad's here. I have had full custody of my boys for 10 years now.
I was a single Dad to my 3 children from the time they were 2, 4, and 6 years old. Won a nasty court battle about 25 years ago. Now I am raising 2 of my grandchildren that are 7 and 11. Good on you guys that are doing it for your kids!

Now back to the thread, sorry for the slight derail. I would like to get a Solo 681, a Dolmar 7900 red top, a Husqvarna 390 or 395, and probably a new Husqvarna 572. I think I have the 50-60cc class covered for now.

Nice looking 441 and nice price. Wish I could but I've got a Huztl 361 kit on the way and if I buy another saw right now I'll be sleeping with the dog again.

You all are a bad influence...like taking advice on my drinking from the boys at the bar!

What I'm itching for is pretty mundane compared to most named here. Like to get a 385xp builder at some point. Don't need it, just want it. I don't need 3/4 of the saws I own as it is.

Would like to get a Dolmar 421 as well. Something about "pro" built sub-45cc saws that tickles me, not sure why. I love my 242xp and have an 024 I'll be resurrecting probably sometime this winter.

That's pretty much it

Mine is for my children. And that’s all I can really say at this point.
I stayed for my daughter, she is in University now.
Things were never bad between us,we own a business together.
We still function and our business is still alive, but things happened that can't unhappen i guess.
We are doing a conscious uncoupling. That is where we will both try to help the other person succeed after we go our own direction. No lawyers taking whats our daughters future for their holidays.
Takes two people to have a marriage, only takes one to leave a marriage.
I'd like to find a diesel saw, during or after our D day.

I have most the original “dream” saws that I was going for, a solo twin would be cool and a 166, but I don’t need them for sure! Also on the lookout for a good deal on a 395 and 7900..

Since the release of two new 70cc pro class saws from the major 2, you would think someone.....just one person may have wanted a 572 or 462. But NO not here after many ran these new saws built with unprecedented awesomeness, they walked away wanting something like this 10y/o saw by a company that shut its factory cause they couldn't sell enough product.1539318146671855279186.jpg They even helped Dolmar design their 6400/7300/7900 series saws that gave Dolmar so much Kudos among saw users. Many Dolmar products are sold daily off the back of them saws, cause folks 'think' why wouldn't you buy a saw from the maker of the infamous king of the 5 cube 7900. Solo sold its name to AL-KO and ceased production of a catalogue of products that was larger than Stihl & it basically went unnoticed. Shame.

Boy I love a 120si!
Never even ran one. Just still have visions of it sitting next to my 115 on the dealer shelf 23 years ago. Went back awhile after and they were gone replaced with Stihl. "Nobody wants these. Stihl sells themselves because of the name. " Still get the same thing today. "What is s Dolmar?"
