I’m looking for a foot of 3/4 pitch chain for a key chain project. I would like to cut it half and make two pieces, one for me and one for a friend. We have nothing that big in the eastern wis area. Even .404 is rare.

I’d be willing to cover shipping and a few bucks for the chain if needed. Thanks.

Nope.

New would be awesome, but used is ok if it has some meat on the hook. Like I said. Purely conversation piece.

3/4 pitch harvester chain is sold by the drive link through many on line vendors. E.g. Bailey's (99 cents / drive link):

http://www.baileysonline.com/Indust...-Chain/Oregon-11BC-Harvester-Chain-3-4-Pitch/ (chipper)

http://www.baileysonline.com/Indust...w-Chain/Oregon-11H-Harvester-Chain-3-4-Pitch/ (semi-chisel)

http://www.baileysonline.com/Indust...n/WoodlandPRO-71HX-Harvester-Chain-3-4-Pitch/ (semi-chisel)

I use it for training - everything is twice as big as 3/8 pitch, 0.063 gauge conventional chain, so it is easier to see the details.

When I order say 10 links. Does it come assembled? I’ve seen the per link option but thought it was for custom sized loops. Not straight sections.

I guess a guy could order a 10 link stretch as a “repair” section.

Didn’t think of that as an option. Thanks.

Yes. It will come as a 10 link piece. Tell them that you do not want a loop (unless you do!) .

If you want it comepletely un-assembled, order pre-sets, tie straps, and drive links. Best to talk to someone on the phone for that, to be sure that get what you want.

Note that this chain is harder to spin and break with conventional tools designed for "normal" size saw chain. You may have to peen over the rivets, even if you own a spinner.

I do own a breaker spinner. But not big enough for 3/4. Although I do have a grinder and a big hammer lol.

Good luck mushrooming 11BC or 11H presets with a hammer it’s hard enough with the right tools.

In Wisconsin it’s tough to find 11BC or 18H or 19H chain with all the CTL equipment in Wisconsin it should be an easy find. What part of the state?

I think I have a box of used 3/4" pitch somewhere, left over from my contracting days. If I can find it - I'll send you a chunk. No promises on finding it though.

Half way between Milwaukee and Green Bay. I haven’t really checked with any “loggers” in my area cause the two I know of that are close are firewooders. Even though they are well into the 200+ cords per year they still hand cut everything. And use cable winch skidders. There is more generosity in the community here then my neck of the woods.

It’s not that far to where Fabtek was and were Timberpro are there’s tons of CTL up in the lake states.
