Just wondering what saw you guys have that you feel doesn't get the admiration it deserves.
For me it is my 254xpg ported by @rattler, little saw just impresses me everytime I take it out, I know the 242 and 262 booth get a lot of desevered admiration as they should but the 254 kinda gets overlooked I think.

I have a little Homelite 330 I found in a dumpster its original homelite case. It had strong compression and spark so I took it home. With a little mix it fired it up and cut a few pieces of wood. It had a broken lower body, bent handle, bent bar and a bad intake boot. Since then I replaced those parts, added dogs to it and have used it quite a bit. I know it's considered to be one of the worst homelites ever made but it's been a great saw over the years. It just keeps happily chugging along. I make sure to keep spare intake boots on hand since they only last a couple seasons. On the plus side it gets fully cleaned on a somewhat regular basis as a result. So far it's the most reliable saw I've owned.

024, good little saw that gets overshadowed by the 026. I sold one to a friend, and he had a 025, and so did all of his friends....he kept saying are you sure this 024 will be as good...well he was shocked when he ran it...and when you can pick up 024-026 for $50-75 at times they are tough to beat!

Solo 681 & my two super feather weight rear-handle ms150 & ms201. I gots plenty of other good saws that get recognition buy my 681 will comfortably destroy a 372, 461, 576 & others in its class yet hardly anyone ever mentions them. If its not a steel or hoosky...

272 XP, really any saw on that chassis. The 162 SE was overshadowed by the 262, the 266 was by the 365 and the 268/272 was by the 372. Tough, reliable workhorses that do not get near the respect they deserve.
