I can't remember if I posted this in another thread or not but here it is. A 95 ft Kentucky coffee tree that me and @Scotty Overkill did. It was around 55" at the stump.

Lots of firewood! We wanted to get the log but there wasn't enough room to get it out from behind the townhouses. There was only about 20' from the decks of the townhouses to the creek bank where it dropped off not quite enough room to finagle machinery around. The total length of the log was probably around 50'. At the end of the log where rhe tree was topped at the crotch was around 28".

As you can see in the second picture the tree was struck by lightning. You can see the strip going down the trunk. The only damage the lthe lightning did to the trunk was blow out the bark. Now the top where it first hit the tree was a different story!

This was a fun one @Armbru84 and I did awhile ago. Old 48" diameter sugar maple with codominant spars. Central decay typical of an old maple. Tree was actually split to within 2' of the ground and had a deceptive amount of lean toward house:

What's left of one of the main spars. About a 150# piece held in place by a 70 year old cable.

20" limb over home needed trimming before tree could be felled.

Rated straps were used to ensure tree didn't fall apart during the felling. Stihl 462 in action for the trigger cut after a 394 with 50" b&c was used for the pie and bore cut.

Not the biggest or tallest tree I've ever cut but it was a fun puzzle to solve.

That would've been a fun puzzle to solve! Awesome job!
