Super cool. Out of my league for the investment for equipment -- very exciting nevertheless!
Buddy of mine has them as well as a couple of the newest starlight style scope $$$$$.
If I had cattle getting taken out, I don't think I could get that setup quick enough!
But I don't, so I'll probably never own one lol.

Its a fact back in the early 1990s that a Pa Game Commision Hearing that the car insurance companies were lobbing for coyotes to cut down on the dear population. Now the Game Commision may not of stocked them but someone has. The population grew to fast.

The farmer that joins me texted me last week that the coyotes have taken some of his sheep, and at least one goat. He has people on my land trying to call them at night, All he is doing is educating them where they do not want to be seen at any time. Which makes them harder to shoot. I now have a green light on one of my rifles that I can see out to over 200 yards, which does no good if they have been shot at before.

( I hate coyotes! ) And yes Junior, someone brought them here! As we have never had them before.

Do tell about the green light? We have 'yotes at my place and nobody is hunting them, so I think 200 yards would be doable.

It is a scope mounted light that will shine a green light out to 200+ yards with a rechargeable battery. It is great for varmint hunting at night, I have it on a 17 hmr for now. very easy to switch over to different guns. I will get a pic. and more info later.

A few farmers in my area asked me to remove some yotes in my area over the years. And the biggest problem is other hunters thinking they can just drive there truck back in the field and shoot one. Very aggravating to get up at 4am and march two miles back and then have a truck drive up and foil everything. Yotes are very smart. I leave a area for a month and then change calls after a few kills.

Back in the early seventies a person rarely seen a deer, until Missouri conservation re introduced them. About twenty years ago the neighbor started getting pics of cougars in his game cam. Game warden denied they were here, talked to a friend of mine that works for the conservation, said they came from South Dakota he actually opened the door to the trailer! Yes,they did come from South Dakota. Traded them for some wild turkeys.

Very true, leave them alone for a while.

Second that

That’s a smart looking rifle if we smoked them pair over here would be behind bars pretty quick , even though the country is overrun with them

You can't shoot varmints over there? How about ground hogs, wood chucks, foxs etc.? Because I am pretty sure I would be in jail!!

When i worked at the trout hatchery Blue Herons where a predator. They would speer a trout through the net and destroy several with one swipe. Don't know what happen. We had 10 to 20 at a time. And eyes on us most weekends.

I did nothing illegal the state would supply me with shotgun shells that would fly out about fifty yards and then explode. But they say they taste like chicken.
