Check your piston weight. If they get heavier than OEM 460, IMO, the vibrations become very annoying.

Unlike some of the 660s, an OEM chain adjuster (or AM HL Supply one) will just go right in and work fine w/o and shims or mods. However, the one that comes with it will need some work to work!

I'm gonna lighten the piston anyways. I did check the chain adjuster and the ring gear was too large to fit in the case. I'll open the hole up tomorrow and see how it feels.

I was able to open the hole on one just by "force turning" the gear. However, it is also thinner (width wise) than an OEM gear, so to make it work right I had to put a modified washer under it.

I would love to see some pics on doing this. I've considered it, but just don't have the balls at the moment!

Any idea how much weight comes off?

Motosealed tonite. Thats about it. Spun clutch on for a lever to check squish. Super impressive:) View attachment 137470used Stihl factory clamshell so i didnt have to machine out the bushing holes to fit in the saddle.
Well that's quite a gap there did you check the squish on the old cylinder and piston?

Honestly I have no clue. I'll smooth and blend the windows then take excess material out. I'll have to look at it this evening. It's just a Chinese saw so if I take too much out and the piston grenades oh well lol
