Got the new coil and ran the saw last night...... What a difference! Did some noodling in white oak with the 28” Sugi/72LGX, maintain 10,200 in the cut (i wasn’t leaning hard on it). Still running really fat while breaking in. I took a video but don’t have a youtube account (and don’t want one).

Do you have a Gmail Account? If you do, you already have a Youtube account. Google has integrated all the services, one account is all you need...

Picked up a new spinner. Tried it on a chain tonight. Seems to work pretty good. Better than the ball peen hammer lol.

Then fixed the spark plug boot on my sons saw after he ripped it off trying to get plug out for some reason. They sure dont give you any extra wire. Had to pull the darn top cover off which is a pain on the 250.

Fixed a couple stripped out top cover holes in this one and would the cord a couple wraps, ready to be sold now.

That came off my little causins f250. He got killed by a train back in 2011. Found it and saved it as a reminder.

I'm glad you like the Princess Auto spinner, I have one int he garage I need to mount up some time. I figured for about $70 (for the set) CDN I couldn't really go wrong...

Taking apart the 365 Special. Piston still has lines on it. Have an OEM ring on the way.

Squish is .023-.024 without the base gasket.

The place to check for piston wear is the lower skirt on the intake side. Look from the bottom and make sure it is not thinner than the other side.

Yes, it’s good.

The crust on the piston was similar in the exhaust port too but fairly easy to remove. I was a little worried about carbon scoring but there was none.

I thought the wash was interesting.
