That’s true. I was gonna thet it go for 275.00 PHO. I just bought a full wrap handle for it so I think I’ll ask a little more.I don’t see the price or am I blind?
They are. How long of a bar do you like to run?I gave my uncle my 038 super I had since he was helping me on my skidsteer and wouldn’t take any money. He was saw less and has to feed his wood boiler. They are nice saw but in the super version they don’t have the power to go with the weight but I here the magnums are pretty awesome.
Ya. You really can’t compare the two. The 044 is a by far a much better saw. Around here they will run a 32” bar on an 044 with no problem. The one I gave my uncle had a 18 or 20” I know they will pull more with a skip but never tried one on that saw. I built a 044 hybrid out of an 044 arctic a local logger gave me. It died an early death because of a bad intake boot. I have a 25” full skip on it the saw is mildly ported with a base gasket delete and advanced timing. Has opened up dual port muffler also, has became one of my favorite saws. Another reason I didn’t use the 038 super much.
Hopefully you still have the 044?View attachment 119336 View attachment 119337
Milled an 18” maple and was surprised how well it did. Smallest saw I’ve used milling usually have my 075 or 090 for that.
I built a Husqvarna 394 for milling, but yet have to mount the mill on it. The saw is such a pleasure to run with a 36” bar I’ve been leaving it on the self.Yes milled this last night, and originally was going to just build it as an 044 but cylinder was hatched. So built it with an 046 top .

You should mill with that S10. LOL. I have a bar if you still need one?Yes milled this last night, and originally was going to just build it as an 044 but cylinder was hatched. So built it with an 046 top. Now i just need to buy a 28-32” bar to use on it so I can max out my small mill.
You are a busy devil. What ever you do don’t buy a S10 from anybody in California!I need to rebuild the carb on the s10, I have a bunch of bars for it, bought 4 boxes of 08 parts and 3 complete saws. I’ve cut two logs with it so far, still need to build my other 064 just way too many projects.
