So I’ve been back and forth with Joe on this just for fun. The more I talk smack the more I think my 254 will take his NE 346’s lunch money. Both saws are bone stock running the same length bar and .325 chain. Now, I respect the 346 for the badass that it is, but in stock form I think the 254 has a broader power band and will cut better with the bar buried. In the small stuff I bet they’re darn near dead even, that 254 ain’t slow by any stretch of the imagination.

So let’s hear your opinions on these saws STOCK. As some of you know I’m on a 2-series kick and Joe thinks it’s making me forget how good a 346 cuts. He might be right, but I think he’s underestimating the 254...what do ya say @RIDE-RED 350r ? We got a head to head match coming or what?

Not just yeah, but HELL YEAH!

254 is damn respectable for sure, but I think the NE346 will outdo it in both categories. That 3-series voodoo is no joke :p

Gonna have to get vids of both of us running both saws.

A good ported 262 feels faster than any 50cc I’ve ran, but I’m not so sure about the 254, haven’t ran one.
