Yeh sorry no clue. I just got the mightyvac. Those are pricey but handy. All I know is you plug a bunch of holes then blow or suck air out of the last hole.

It’s used to set point gaps .0xx(thousands) before top dead center. Some are made to thread into spark plug hole. Does it have the brackets that mounts to the saw for the different series?
could not see any adp.

Items 4 thru 12 on second picture are needed. #11 looks likes it. You have a good neighbor!

Its for setting the ignition timing.
It produces a loud beep noise, which changes when the breaker opens.
You put one wire on the case and one on the screw for the condenser cable on the breaker.
Set the distance beforce TDC with the gauge and then set the timing until it changes the noise.
I will make a video of this on tuesday, this tool works fine after 40 years of excessive usage.

if i see this right #8 shoudl be screwed in to the spark plug thread and press the gauge in it.
you need to test which extension (#5-#7) you have to use on the gauge.
Basicly #3 to #13 are iginition setting parts.

Looks like a metric dial indicator for precise measuring, #4 on the illustration. Items #5 and #6 are probably used with it. JMHO.

Nice little indicator. I’ve seen them a thousand times more accurate.

But not for working on any saws!!!
