I just don' need another big bar saw. Actually 32" is the longest I got for 3/8. 36" and longer is 404. If it's big enough for a 36 i get out the 880. Besides it need to run too. ;)
The 880 stock?

I think a 395 would have a chance of keeping up with a 880 with a 32” bar and it’s lighter. Longer than that probably not.

Put the longer .404 bar on your 880

I was poking fun at T. Roller, thinking he doesn't run his 395 very often because of the long bar. You hang whatever bar you like on that saw and run the hell out of it:headbang:

Lol gfy. I just don't see a benefit in running a 90+cc saw with a 25" bar but if that's what you wanna do then go for it lol.

My post about a 7 pin was for the 372, which I thought beergut was talking about. I use bar sizes appropriate to engine size (in my opinion). No larger than 20 on a 60cc, no larger than a 24 on a 70cc, no larger than a 28 on a 75-80cc, and if its 90+ccs I put what ever on it. Running a short bar on a big saw is silly...in my opinion.

Nope not at all. I don't see a 395 with a 25" being that much faster than let's say a hybrid or 372 with a 25" I used to use my 395 for anything over 20" then realized there's no point.
You guys got so serious with this I felt compelled to toss a sloppy ol clam at the wall to see who it splatters.
