When I looked at my .325 chain, as far as tooth size goes, Carlton was the smallest in height and width. Stihl was in the middle. Oregon was the largest. Just me looking by eye. I did not measure anything.
Carlton was by far the hardest metal, then Stihl and Oregon.

Info in thread saved on the stock chain portion.

The stock carlton cut just like it did the other day on the 357. Rough and felt slow.
LG33 was next and couldnt believe how smooth and fast it felt compared to above even with smaller cutter.
RS was rougher then the LG but felt fast. Not as smooth as the LPX or LG in cuts.
LPX was smooth and felt fast.

Video and times will tell the tell. But what I got from this. I wont buy any more carlton 325 chains.

Lol. Really interesting to see the different teeth all in .325. Never realized that there was that much variation.
Thanks again.

I noticed the same about my Carlton. Didn't seem to cut as well or as fast as Stihl or Oregon.
A bugger to sharpen.
