I've never worked with them, probleby troublesome saws.
Once I worked on an 439 and I hope I'll never see it again but that was a Zenoah saw

Not as bad as I thought. I want one in cpm3v one day. I’ve got a tops bob that I really like and have used for about 2-3 years now

STUPID ME!!! I got a Chinese 660 running last week, motor sounded great, but it did not oil!!!

So I finished up the next one, and same result! Then I started thinking about it. These 660s drink a lot, so I just put about 1/3 tank of fuel in em, in case there is carb trouble you don't want a full tank. (The first one I built the valve had to be adujsted).

So I did the same on the oiler side ... BIG MISTAKE!!! As I thought about it, I realized the oiler probably needs to be primed, like an old water pump, so the tank needs to be near full for it to work the first time.

That was it ... both oilers work ... I feel foolish.

On the bright side, both saws are done and ready to go, with Cross MMWS P+Cs. They both sound real good, can't wait to get them into some wood.

Glock37 did an amazing job on these parts. They look better then brand new.

Got a Stihl 021 on the bench all apart. First one of this model I'll be going through. I do a lot of 1127 series saws and these 1123 aren't too different. I was not ready for the loose rod to crank bearings though. I hope I found all the rollers. I came up with 12 of them.

No spark.....either coil or condenser. Hoping condenser. Homelite 26lcs. Parts ain't exactly common.

While heating the cases to drop in the bearings, I decided to modify the oiler. Even got it back together before I was ready to drop in the flywheel side bearing
