Assembling my second 066/660 for a client.

Discovered the air baffle in the starter housing won’t clear the flywheel fins.

Looks to me the flywheel skipped two or three machining stations.[emoji848]

More pics tomorrow when we have light in the garage.

How much did you pay for postage for those kits? I may get one some day but since I'm not selling much right now money might get a little tight..

If you got one through a group purchase (through Bruce) shipping was very reasonable. In fact, the whole delivered cost was very reasonable.

I believe shipping is a lot less if you order one through HL Supply.

I’m feeling pretty lucky with how my kit went. Most my problems were self induced. Mine still won’t idle right but runs out great.

One of my 660s the lever was set to high, but re setting it cured the problem.

I think you should replace the brake handle on these with OEM Carl. They get hot, and become to flexible to trip the brake.

Mostly all it needed was the lump needed sanded down.

And break the sharp edge of the muffler.

What's the point if it ain't gonna work after it gets hot and flexible?
That was THE best liability advise I've read on here in quite a while.

You really got a hard on for aftermarket parts don’t ya.

Just how the hell is a brake handle going to get hot?[emoji848]
