Maybe if you're hard up for firewood...but, "stacking in cord dimensions!"
Hmmm...
Reckon I'll pass on this old deal!:confundio1:

Free fire wood. Trees are already down laying in a pile. You cut up. I want to do havers. In other words you cut all up for fire place and for each cord you haul away I keep a cord. You cut all trees up and for each cord you take you leave a cord for me stacked in cord dimensions. Email or text me for more details. I need this done soon.

If you got time and no place to cut might not be bad. There is a guy here that sells it by the pick up load but he loads it with a skid loader by just dumping it total rip off.

How much does a cord go for in your neck of the woods?

Depends on the wood.
If its oak in rounds & green about $150-175
If its oak, split, and season about $225-275
Hickory & Locust about $50-75 more
Poplar, Sweetgum, Persimmon, and Maple is dirt cheap.
Missed a deal on 6 free osage orange tree's about 12 to 15 inches in diameter...I was a day late & dude burnt them to a crisp and got his mug and thighs singed and swollen from all the sparks, by standing right next to them as they blazed away!:rolleyes:o_O:risas3:

Yep...I love me some hedge, locust, white ash, and shagbark.
Gonna drive about an hour or so to snag some fallen shaggy in a few days...that stuff's hard on the chains, but well worth it.
I pass up oak, especially red oak all the the time...its crazy plentiful here.
BTW...what are your cord prices going for?
Started burning yet?

About 6 years ago was the last I sold some and it was 180 for split and stacked oak hickory. I don't even burn wood lol. And no heater on yet.

If the logs were nice (straight, clean, made of oak or similar), and decked near a driveway, I might be tempted by a deal like that EXCEPT for the stacked in cord dimensions clause.

LMAO. No way in hades would I do that, unless it was a friend in need, and he helped me cut, split, and stack.

Cause I've got so much already stashed & stacked...and it's so plentiful. Also it's a personal preference...I just like hedge, locust, ash, & hickory the best.
Any hickory I come across I split and store in the shop for smoking otherwise bugs eat tje chit out of it.

No way. I can’t stand it when people ask me to remove a tree either standing or fallen and expect me to take the wood as payment. It’s usually some crap soft wood in the back yard that I can’t get a tractor or truck to. I’m sorry, no wood is worth greenbacks when it comes to clean up.

For the folks I'm selling to, it $200/cord delivered and stacked, but they usually throw an extra $10-20 in. I probably need to raise my rates, although it's a cured mix of Oak(s), Ash, Mulberry, Honey Locust and an Occasional Red Elm, as all but 2 of my customers aren't setup for Hedge. Those that are buy almost exclusively Hedge but I value it at the same cost, although it's normally traded for Brome hay for one customer.

There is a guy who is well known that sells hard wood for $260/cord split dried (either seasoned or kiln dried) and delivered. He sells soft wood for campfires at $200/cord.

I think trading is a great way to do business.
