Be careful using Craigslist. I just got a text saying I had two unread voicemails and had a link to follow ?
So I googled craigslist voicemail scam now they're phishing through text trying to get you to login so they can scam on your account ?
Anyone else get one ?
Most are smart enough not to do this but they're going to get a lot of people?
This is a link to what their doing now no where does it say craigslist it says
Craigs Ad ?
I just took a class on phishing at work today so they didn't get me ?

Well, they noticed their mistake a bit now, I guess. They now say “Craigslist”, but misspelled “listen” and their English is off. And, when I clicked the link (before being smart enough to Google “Craigslist voicemail”), I was just taken to a “Craigslist terms of use” page.

Sure hope opening that link doesn’t do anything to my phone. Will try to remember to update should anything happen.44074A19-1866-4146-9302-2627608699C0.png138DDEBA-F832-48EB-9624-643B1052887C.png

You're in Massachusetts and your Craigslist "seller" is in Alberta (403 area code). Curious.

Not Craigslist, but Western Union/email scam.

I got this yesterday:
WU email scam.JPG

No, I never respond to any: "You have won!!!" ; "You are the xxxxxxxxxth visitor!" ; "Click NOW to receive Your gift!" , "go here" ; ...
But I guess there are enough gullible individuals out there to actually respond.

What bothers me most, this mail came in to an email address that barely a handful of my closest relatives have.
So either someone of them gave my address away or my ISP did - I'm thinking the latter.
I always delete these, normally I don't even bother reading the mails content.

Funny though, pay a 95$ fee to receive 100k$ ONLY as first installment.
