@fordf150 Facebook is not something I use but iv been keeping a eye on the Makita Uk site for the listing of this Makita version of the saw to show up.
Just thought this might sit well alongside the info on the 3601 .

That Dolmar-Suisse is just HOT. Even if it is Chicom made!
Got to take these saws on a "saw by saw" basis with the detail of concept /design and place of manufacture ...let alone if things are "assembled " somewhere. Then there is the intended market they are being sold into.

These will be assembled in Hamburg for atleast the 1st year. I don't think anybody will have a problem with the price on this saw in the USA.

In that video the 5600 is about 1000 RPM too rich and didn't have the greatest chain on it. I installed a LGX and retuned the Walbro carb and it ran quite a bit faster.

Is that saw a production ready saw other than the sticker ... and is it using a cat ?

Early production model. No catalytic muffler.
No cat...interesting . In the vain of 3601/Ps-352 , 7310/7910 or 6100 ?

Think of it as a big 3601/352.
So it is a clam shell then? It will be interesting to see one in action and how it compares to the big 2 offerings
