Did it take out the rings ? Doesn't look like has much of a area to hold them in place

Holy smokes. I'm not sure where the grinding stops, and the cylinder begins!! Is that a bunch of transfer at the base of the cylinder wall?

from what I've seen, its common with him.

i'm thinking he ports the intake and exhaust with the cylinder mounted to the case
Work like this gives respectable saw porters a bad name. He needs a long jail sentence with some fines tacked on to it for poor and shoddy workmanship.

My piston you sent me back was wore
My saw was a running saw when I sent it to jms
Horizontal line all the way around the cylinder about 3/16
Also the dreaded sanded base

My findings of the jmssaw 066 piston and cylinder that was on my saw when I asked you to redo it

What's your plan to clean the cases on the saws he's done?

Of course, it's the recipients fault. Somehow.

For sure. They didn't follow his stringent post-JMS cleaning regimen...or something...

Wow just wow

That's what I was thinking. I feel bad for the owner, having been there.

I don't have a lot to contribute, but I'm due to pay a little forward. I'll pitch in a few bucks once the plan is hatched.
