I would say as long as it's aftermarket it would be fine to swap
Wrist pin bearing will be my only oem partLittle China Girl is named so as it will be an all AM build, not one factory part from Stihl will be installed. Parts from other saws will also be Aftermarket, with the goal of a 100% AM build. As it makes no sense to spend more on a handful of parts than it did for the whole saw. Also a budget limit will be in place of no more than the purchase price of the saw be added to the build, or double.

I really like your idea. I think it's cool your building a class three from the boxThat's cool Dave, this isn't about me judging others, just what I chose to do. Everyone should build their saws the way they like best.
I'm excitedThere will also be a lot of experimental as well as old school hot rodding techniques, unique if nothing else. The saw may flop or fight, either one will be fun to see what works and what doesn't. You will see things not seen before, here on the forum.

I figured so lolDidn't say that, said everything will be AM. A few hand made pieces will be necessary as well.
