Gravely is the cats arse. Mow quality is excellent, they stripe like a million bucks too.
I have a 152z with a Gravely suspension seat, and I couldn't be happier with it. I wouldn't have a problem owning another either.
Ya that suspension seat would be real nice. This one is not bad at all but I bet that 152 is a real sweet machine.

I bought it used for a song at an estate sale. I was really looking for an Exmark at the time, because that's what I had the most experience with... We bought a house with quite a bit more yard, and I wanted a commercial ztr.
In the long run, I'm glad I ended up with this Gravely. I don't think anyone has them beat, especially for the money. I would own a Scag also, they are pretty impressive machines, but can get into some $$$ quick with them also.

Here is mine. I really enjoy using it.

When you get into the higher end machines (eXmark, Toro, Gravely, Scag, Husqvarna, John Deere, Walker) they are all equally good, it really all comes down to good dealer support.

You got me looking now. We just inherited my Mother-in-laws lawn to mow an although I have a walk behind Zero Turn -- the thought of a rider with her huge yard is pulling at me!

How do you like the seat isolation pads? Do you like the chute blocker? Does it leave clumps of grass from under the deck? Sorry for all the questions, I go pick mine up on Friday and I'm just a little excited about it!

The chute blocker I really like it can leave a line of grass nor necessarily clumps but one long line. The seat isolation pads work very well at taking the harsh jolt out of bumps. It also raises the seat a bit which make it easier for me to pick my fat butt up off of it.
Worth being excited about though.
