There was a day (15 years, actually) that I gave the local redi mix plant $12k every month. Not so much any more. I like it better when it's 50°.
As far as pouring in CT, that's a bit far lol. I did pour a garage floor and build a house for my uncle in TN about 20 minutes from our fearless gun wielding primate about 10 years ago though

I need to pour a 20 or 24' × 40' approach across the front of my shop someday. It's been just dirt since we built there 15 years ago. It would be nice to wash cars on and spray coolers out without sand landing on everything

I miss the days of pouring. I've poured thousands of yards up in the ludington and Scottsville area.

At the time it sucked, but at the end of the day and looking back at what was accomplished it was a good feeling.

For the 500+ yard pours we would usually start at 7pm and go through the night. The concrete company's could never commit all their trucks to us during the day time.
