I still have it on the calendar for that weekend but it’s not a big deal to push it farther out as long as I have a few weeks notice.

Jeff a young porter guy is gonna put it out n maybe along with Mike an older one. I’ll be there a little early for a funeral so will see.

What size saw classes and wood y’all think?

I don’t remember all the cubic inch stuff but I probably have an entry for every 10ccs

That seems like a silly way to class them. 372 vs. 80cc saws? 346 too big for 3 cube? Or am I missing something?

I’m just learning this stuff but usually there’s a 1cc of variation allowed. 346 is usually allowed in 3cube but so are 4910 and 261 (all 3 are over). People do run 372 in the 6cube but I’m not sure how they win. 365 Special is dead on 65cc/5cube.

Sometimes the classes are by CC (30, 40, 50 etc, or 35, 45, 55, etc). Every race is different.

Size of wood matters a lot too. 372 has a chance against 7900 if the wood is only 12”. If it’s 28”…

I will probably just bring whatever saws others are interested in running against.
