We have our Missouri family on their way up here today. Starting to fill our small house with kids and grandkids for Christmas!
My latest project find. Seeing how there’s no room under the tree it’ll just have to stay out in the shed and the boss of the house won’t know. According to the radio show Garage Logic, if a man has something on the property past three days, his wife has to let him keep it. So I should be good to go View attachment 401530View attachment 401531
Carefully inspect the glued in divider plate between the oil and fuel tank.

If it has fallen out, u are in for a total tare down.

Seal up those ends.. be generous.

Coat top and bottom of the end 2” along with the actual ends.

Stack em out of the sun light.
Roger 👍
Just looked at prices for anchorseal....wow! maybe I'll just paint em.

I used to use something like anchorseal on 2.5" x 14"-24" wide, alder guitar body blanks & it worked great.

I literally use anything I got.,

The latest find is a roof tar *s-word in gallon cans.

Anything to keep the drying to a minimum..

Good morning folks. Forecasted to be a warm x-mas at the homestead.
Seems to happen about every 25 years or so, especially after a heavier snowfall season the year before.
48f already this morning and going to 54f, with moistures on and off. We need the moisture, it's been rather dry here.

Happy holiday folks, enjoy this time with family's and friends, I know we are!

Okay, that makes sense.
I'll have to pick up a can of tar and try it out.
I just have Lisa troll the discount isle at the farm and home store.
Sometimes they have products that are discontinued or too old.
The last *s-word she found was 4 - 1 gallon cans of roof coating for $5 a can.
