My dad used one (eco fan brand) for at least 10 years and it never broke, and mom would run the stove way too hot!
They work fine......just don't move very much air.
Mine's got a bimetallic strip in the base that curves and lifts the base of the fan up to cool it down when it gets too hot.

That would be me......I'm about 25 minutes west of Gainesville.
You need something over there?
No, I just go through there on my way to Mountain Home every so often. I went through today and was trying to remember who was near there. Now I know. [emoji846]

Good morning!
It is 41⁰ here and very windy.
Finally got the furnace lines through the basement wall of our house yesterday.
It isn't pretty, but I believe I got it sealed up properly.
I used a foam gun to make a form, and then filled it with thinly mixed hydraulic cement.
Now we just need to get the trench backfilled and the boiler set.
I have training classes all day today and tomorrow though, so don't expect much progress in the next couple of days.

Nice idea on creating your form. Had on your thinking cap.

Did you include a CAT5 cable? Never know it might come in handy. I had to add a data line for my added wall display/wifi in the garage.

Good morning everyone. It's been a while since I've been on here. I hoe you have all been well. I'm going to sell off most of my saws. My back just won't take it anymore. I'll keep a few and get out in the woods now and then.

I added a piece of 1/2" pex for that.
It has a wifi antenna on it, but I don't know how reliable that will be.
